Effective Writing: Why Article Marketing is Your Answer
Effective Writing: Why Article Marketing is Your AnswerEffective writing starts with research and customized content that are tailored to the needs of your audience. But does the word you use in your headline or sub-headline really determine whether or not your message is captured? The answer is no. Effective writing is the result of incorporating research and direction into your copy.Research is a key component to successful writing, and effective writers know this. In fact, the foundation of effective writing is research and analysis. If you are using a self-help or spiritual website as your source of information, your audience is unlikely to be interested in your information unless it includes research. This means that your writing should include at least some amount of research before it is used to advertise any product or service.Effective writers recognize that most readers will be open to suggestions and are intrigued by words like 'analyze,' 'research,' and 'choose.' This is because most people assume that all writers, no matter how polished, are obligated to use these types of words. When you use them, you are handing the reader a pat on the back and are telling them that they need to trust you. Instead, effective writers use descriptive phrases and deliver an opening paragraph that has a hook and a call to action.Effective writing is about creating a situation where people are most likely to buy your product or service. This can be done through the use of images and imagery that will generate interest and a response from the reader. Readers may have a favorite image that shows them exactly what you are selling. If you use this image within your copy, you will likely get more clicks and hits than if you do not.A great example of an image that gets clicks and hits pictures of cats. There is something about cats that attract and capture a reader's attention. Pictures of cute kittens, sleeping kittens, smilingkittens, and crying kittens are often used wit hin this type of text and will most likely get clicks and hits.Using a series of images that are strategically placed within your copy can be a great way to generate traffic for your website. Think about how many websites you have visited that had a series of pictures that were extremely interesting and highlighted the product or service being offered. You may have clicked on one or two of these images, but not understood what your overall impression was until you saw more of them. However, your brain recognizes pictures and instinctively responds to them and you will be more likely to remember what you saw and click on them.Remember, using images and pictures within your copy is not a gimmick. The purpose of this method is to make sure that you are engaging with your audience in order to obtain their attention. In doing so, you will be able to influence their decision. For example, you may choose to take action within a few paragraphs of your text and encourage them to take an acti on such as taking a survey, buying a product, or registering for a free course.Being an effective writer is simply being able to get your point across in the simplest and most direct way possible. You don't have to be a marketer to use this method to get the most from your content. It just comes down to having the ability to get your point across to your audience and then taking action to encourage them to take further action. If you are successful in doing this, you will see profits come pouring in.
